What is UPI Circle?
What do you do now for online payment? You scan the other person’s scanner with your phone or send money by typing the mobile number or name. This work is completed with the help of a UPI ID and your bank account. UPI Circle will also do the same work, but it has been brought mainly for those who neither have a UPI ID nor a bank account.
For example, Rahul makes UPI payments, but his mother who lives in the village does not have this facility. With the help of UPI Circle, Rahul can now add his mother to the UPI app, after which she will be able to make online payments in the village from her mobile.
The specialty of UPI Circle is that any user can add one or more people to his payment app. All of them will be able to make payments from the bank account of the primary user.
You will be able to set limit
With the UPI Circle feature, if you allow someone to make payments from your account, you can also set a limit for that. That user will not be able to make payments beyond that limit. Suppose your child is studying in a hostel in another city. If you want to avoid sending him money every month, you can set a payment limit by linking it with your UPI ID.
what is the payment limit
According to reports, the maximum limit of transaction in UPI circle has been fixed at Rs 15 thousand. Transactions up to Rs 5 thousand can be done at a time.
Partial payment option also available
If you want that your close people added in the UPI circle should not be able to make payment without your permission, then partial payment can also be set up. Whenever people associated with the circle make payment, it will be completed only when you, the primary user, enters the UPI PIN.
Benefits of UPI Circle
With the help of UPI Circle, members of a family will be able to make payments from one bank account despite living in different cities. However, auto-pay cannot be done through this. Different payment limits can also be set for the people added by the primary user to the UPI Circle.
