Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station posted a leak on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. Post It is claimed that the upcoming Vivo X200 Pro smartphone will have a 6.7-inch or 6.8-inch display with 1.5K resolution. The display will reportedly be equipped with very thin bezels and will be curved on two sides. It has been reported that an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will be installed under this display.
The tipster further claims that the phone will get a 6,000mAh battery, which will be equipped with a new silicon battery cell configuration. The phone is also claimed to have a triple rear camera system, which will also have a periscope camera. As we mentioned above, the tipster has also claimed that the upcoming Vivo phone will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, which the chipset company can introduce in the coming October. The upcoming chipset will be built on 3nm process and is rumored to be equipped with Cortex-X5 super core. The chipset will compete directly with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which can be launched later this year.
The Vivo X200 series will be equipped with successor models of the Vivo X100 series launched in January this year. Vivo X100 Pro was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 89,999. The phone gets 512GB storage with 16GB RAM.
The Vivo X100 Pro runs on MediaTek’s current flagship Dimensity 9300 SoC. The phone gets a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display, which supports 120Hz refresh rate. The phone includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX989 1-inch primary rear sensor. It has a 5,400mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging support.
