TVS Jupiter CNG Unveiled at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 84 km per kg mileage specifications details

The TVS has introduced the Jupiter CNG scooter in the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 (Bharat Mobility Gloabal Expo 2025). It is the first scooter in the country to run on CNG. Earlier, Bajaj has also introduced Freedom Motorcycle, the country’s first motorcycle to run on CNG. Jupiter can run on both CNG and petrol. Its top speed is 80.5 kmph. In the case of fuel efficiency, it has been claimed that this scooter runs 84 km/kg and the total range is stated to be 226 km, including petrol and CNG.

Currently the price of TVS Jupiter CNG has not been revealed. Petrol Jupiter 125 is priced between Rs 79,540 to Rs 90,721 (ex-showroom, Delhi). In such a situation, it can be expected that the CNG version should also be launched around this price range. Jupiter CNG is almost production ready. However, information about its launch time has not been given.

The TVS Jupiter CNG has a CNG cylinder below the seat, which may have 1.4 kg (9.5 liters) gas. It provides 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine, which is capable of generating 7.2hp at 6,000rpm and 9.4Nm at 5,500rpm. This configuration petrol is slightly lower than the Jupiter 125, which produces 8.1hp and 10.5Nm.

TVS claims that its top speed is 80.5kph. It has claimed a range of 84 km/kg and in collaboration with petrol, the total range is 226 km. Because the Jupiter CNG scooter has a gas tank under the seat, there is no storage. It provides DG-analog display, USB charger and start/stop technology.
