Redmi Note 14 Series Launch Soon Teased IP Rating Improved Battery Life All Details

The Redmi Note 14 series can be launched as a successor to last year’s Redmi Note 13 range. The lineup is expected to include Redmi Note 14, Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro +. So far the company has not given any information about the launch of the smartphone lineup, but the company has teased the series for the first time. The upcoming series of smartphones has been hinted at getting better durability, IP rating for water and dust protection and better battery life.

Redmi brand general manager Thomas Wang shared a post on Weibo. Post in that the upcoming Redmi Note series phones will bring major upgrades over the previous models. As per the post, the next Note range, presumably the Redmi Note 14 series, will feature an IP68 water and dust resistant rating. For comparison, last year’s Redmi Note 13 Pro+ had an IP68-rated build, while the vanilla Redmi Note 13 And Samsung Galaxy A3s Came with IP54 rating.

In a separate Weibo post, Thomas claimed that the new Note series phones will have “very strong drop resistance and long battery life” like the newly launched iPhone 16 series.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro packs a 5,100mAh battery with 67W charging support, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ packs a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging support. Based on Thomas’ claims, we can expect a bigger battery on the Pro model.

Redmi’s Note 14 series recently appeared in the IMEI database, hinting at its launch in September. The Redmi Note 14 Pro is believed to run on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. It is also said to feature a display with 1.5K resolution and a triple rear camera unit equipped with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It was also spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with model number 24094RAD4.
