Redmi K80 and K80 Pro receive radio certification ahead of November launch

Xiaomi’s sub-brand is working on the new Redmi K80 series. The company is preparing to launch the series in the domestic market soon. It is reported that this series can be introduced in November. There is not much time left for the launch, before that Redmi K80 and K80 Pro have received radio certification. Both smartphones can come with OLED display which will support 2K resolution. Two new Xiaomi phones with model numbers 24122RKC7C and 24117RK2CC have been spotted on China’s radio certification platform (via) were earlier seen in the IMEI database and it is being said that these two phones are Redmi K80 and K80 Pro respectively. Recent reports have revealed that both phones will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipsets respectively.

Both smartphones can come with OLED display which will support 2K resolution. The display can have a 120Hz refresh rate. In the K80 series, the company can provide a big battery which can be up to 6,500mAh. Along with this, support for 120W fast charging can be available. The K80 Pro is also rumored to have an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

The K80 model can come equipped with an optical fingerprint scanner in this case. The K80 Pro can have a 50-megapixel main camera at the rear. Along with this, an ultrawide lens and a 50-megapixel 3X telephoto camera can be seen. The company has not officially confirmed any of its specifications yet. In the coming days, the company can start teasing them by announcing the launch of the series. For Redmi K80 Pro, it is likely that it will be launched only in China.
