The name of the smartwatch is not mentioned in the database, but the report links it to the OnePlus Watch 3. Let us tell you that OnePlus Watch 2 received some certifications with model number OPWWE231, which increases the possibility of this upcoming model being the OnePlus Watch 3. However, no information has been released by OnePlus regarding any upcoming smartwatch at the moment.
The BIS certification does not provide any other information apart from this. However, the same report states that a OnePlus smartwatch with model number OPWW231 has received TUV Rheinland certification. This matches the model number present in the BIS as well as the previous certification, so it is expected to be the same smartwatch. This certification shows that the upcoming OnePlus smartwatch will have a 550mAh battery. For those who don’t know, let us tell you that the OnePlus Watch 2 was also launched with a battery pack of the same capacity and the company claimed that the model can give up to 100 hours of battery life on full charge.
In May, the OPWW231 model number was spotted in China’s 3C and CMIIT certification databases. While 3C revealed that the smartwatch will support 10W fast charging and will be sold without a power adapter. At the same time, it can be guessed from another certification database that the upcoming OnePlus smartwatch will support connectivity like TD-LTE, WCDMA, WLAN and Bluetooth.
At present, the company is silent about the launch of any upcoming smartwatch. OnePlus launched Watch 2 in India this year at a price of Rs 24,999.
