Jio Removed Rs 149 and Rs 179 Prepaid recharge plan

Now a report claims that the company has quietly removed both these recharge plans from its platform.

This means that keeping the Jio SIM active for outgoing calls has become much more expensive than before. The good thing with Jio is that the incoming call of the user’s number works even when the customer has not recharged the SIM with an active service validity plan.

However, this decision will be a blow to those customers who want low-cost recharge plans. They will now have to choose a higher-priced recharge plan to make calls.

After this change, Reliance Jio’s cheapest recharge plan with longer validity is Rs 189. On this plan, users get 2 GB mobile data, unlimited calling, 300 SMS and subscription to Jio apps. The validity is 28 days.

Earlier the price of this plan was Rs 155, which has increased to Rs 189 from July 3. Compared to Jio, Airtel and Vi offer plans with similar facilities for Rs 199. Talking about other prepaid recharge plans of Jio, the 28 days prepaid recharge of Rs 209 has now become Rs 249. The 28 days prepaid recharge of Rs 239 is now Rs 299. The 28 days prepaid recharge of Rs 349 is now Rs 399. The 28 days prepaid recharge of Rs 399 is now Rs 449.
