Electric Two-Wheeler Sales Increasing in India

Electric vehicle sales have increased in the last few years. Sales of electric two-wheelers are growing rapidly. The share of this segment in total two-wheeler sales is estimated to reach around 13 percent by 2026-27. In the last financial year, this figure was around five percent.

A media Report Quoting a report by investment banking firm Jefferies, it has been said that about four years ago, the share of electric two-wheelers in the total sales of two-wheelers was only 0.4 percent. At the beginning of last year, it had increased to 5.4 percent. The main reasons behind this were the increase in subsidy and new launches.
