Chandrayaan 4 Isro says the mission will bring 2 3 kg of soil and stones from the moon

Chandrayaan 4: The success of Chandrayaan-3 mission has accelerated the Chandrayaan-4 mission. Indian Space Agency ISRO is busy in completing this. The target is to launch Chandrayaan-4 mission by the year 2029. Its estimated cost is Rs 2,104.06 crore. According to reports, Chandrayaan-4 mission is going to be special because it will return with 2 to 3 kg samples from the Moon. This will be the first time that an Indian spacecraft will collect samples from a celestial body.

According to the Economic Times report, Chandrayaan-4 mission will consist of 5 modules. These are Ascender Module (AM), Descender Module (DM), Re-entry Module (RM), Transfer Module (TM) and Propulsion Module (PM).

According to the report, these models will be launched separately with the help of two LVM3 rockets. In a statement, ISRO has said that after landing on the Moon, the robotic arm installed in the descender module will start collecting samples. He will collect 2 to 3 kg of samples. The sample will be transferred to a container. The container will be sealed so that it does not come in contact with anything during its return to Earth.

The special thing about the mission is that whatever technology will be used in it, it will be made in India.

Will the mission be launched in two parts?

ISRO has already said that the weight capacity of Chandrayaan-4 can be more than the most powerful rocket available with ISRO. For this reason, preparations are being made to launch the mission in two parts. If this happens, it will be the world’s first mission, which will be flown in two parts and the spacecraft will be connected in space.

If this mission is successful then ISRO will create history in the world. So far, three countries of the world – America, Russia and China have been able to return samples from the Moon. If India also does this, its achievement will be completely different.
