This threat notification has been sent to iPhone users in 98 countries. Apple has asked users to take additional steps to protect their devices.

These users have been warned that their smartphones may be attacked by spyware. company The email sent by said, “Apple has discovered that a mercenary spyware attack is being carried out which can remotely harm your iPhone.” The company has advised these users to update to Apple’s new operating system – iOS 17.5.1. Along with this, users have been asked to enable the built-in lockdown mode, which can reduce the impact of the attack. The company’s support document also warns users that Apple’s threat notification emails do not include clickable links, nor are users asked to install apps or download files.

Apple’s iPhone 16 series may be launched soon. The iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max of this series may have higher wired and MagSafe wireless charging speeds than the iPhone 15 Pro models introduced last year.
