Revolt RV1 Electric Motorcycle 16000 Bookings in First Week of Launch Price Starting Rs 84990 Specifications Details

Revolt recently launched its latest e-motorcycle, the RV1, in India and now, the company has reported that it is receiving a good response from the public. Revolt says that the RV1 electric motorcycle has garnered over 16,000 bookings within the first week of launch. The Revolt RV1 is offered with two battery options, with the smaller battery pack claiming to deliver a range of 100 km, while the larger pack has a single charge range of 160 km. Revolt says that this is the first Indian commuter e-motorcycle.

Revolt has said through a press release that it has received more than 16,000 bookings within a week of the launch of the RV1 e-motorcycle. This certainly reflects the growing demand for e-motorcycles in two-wheelers. Currently, e-scooter sales are at their peak in the Indian market. In such a situation, the booking numbers of Revolt RV1 indicate the increasing interest of people in the e-motorcycle segment. Revolt RV1 has been introduced in two variants, in which the base variant is priced at Rs 84,990 (ex-showroom) and the premium model starts at Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom).

Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Anjali Rattan, Chairperson, RattanIndia Enterprises Limited said, (translated) “We are extremely humbled by the unprecedented demand for the RV1. This significant response not only strengthens our resolve but also motivates us to continue being the leader in India’s electric sector.”

The 2.2 kWh battery variant of the Revolt RV1 claims a range of 100 km, while the 3.24 kWh battery pack claims a range of 160 km on a single charge. Both variants are IP67 water resistant. It gets a 2.8 kW mid-motor and a chain drive system. The company says that the Revolt has a payload capacity of 250 kg. The RV1 has telescopic forks at the front and twin shockers at the rear. The e-motorcycle can charge from zero to 80 percent in two hours and 15 minutes. The Revolt RV1 gets a 6-inch digital LCD instrument cluster. The e-motorcycle is equipped with dual disc brakes, multiple speed modes and a reverse mode.
