Dinosaur Footprints: How long can any evidence remain like this? A few days or weeks. After that it will be destroyed or spoiled. But evidence related to dinosaurs is still being found today. This tells about the very old conditions of life on our earth. A 10-year-old girl living in the United Kingdom was searching for fossils with her mother. They were surprised when they found dinosaur footprints. The special thing is that the footprints are about 220 million years old.

Business Insider’s Report According to Tegan Jones, she was looking for fossils with her mother Claire Jones last year. During this time, she saw footprints. This incident is from South Wales. Many other people have also found dinosaur footprints in this area. When Tegan and Claire saw those footprints, they felt that they had already been discovered.

When they reached home and compared the pictures taken with the pictures available online, they found that the footprints they found were completely different. According to the report, the family lives near the beach near Penarth in South Wales. This place is full of fossils of the Jurassic period.

Tegan and Claire knew that dinosaur footprints had been found in the area before. They too decided to search for some footprints. However, they were able to believe their discovery much later. Actually, the footprints that were found earlier were in brown rocks. The footprints that the mother and daughter found were in red rocks. After this, they realized that some new discovery has been made.

Claire told the National Museum Wales about her discovery. It was confirmed from there that her discovery was correct. It is not yet known for sure which dinosaur these footprints belong to. It is believed that it must have been a Camelotia dinosaur. Those dinosaurs were vegetarian. They had long necks, which made it easy for them to reach food etc.
